Steps Updating Parent Mobile Number in LEAP App

 *Steps Updating Parent Mobile Number in LEAP App*

 
To enable Student LEAP App Login (OTP) and SRKMV Kits distribution, update the parent's mobile number *only if the existing mobile number is incorrect, unavailable, or needs to be changed.*
 
Steps:
 
1. Open LEAP App.
 
 
2. Go to Student → Actions.
 
 
3. Select Parent Mobile Number Capturing/Updation.
 
 
4. Choose the Class.
 
 
5. Select the required Student.
 
 
6. In the pop-up:
 
Select Yes if the parent has a smartphone.
 
Enter or update the 10-digit parent/guardian mobile number.
 
 
 
7. Click Click to Proceed to save the details.
 
 
 
*Important Instructions:*
 
1. Update the mobile number only if the existing number is incorrect or unavailable. If the existing number is correct, no update is required.
 
2. Enter only the parent/guardian's mobile number.
 
3. Teacher's or Head Master's mobile number should not be entered under any circumstances.
 
4. The updated mobile number will be reflected and used for OTP-based Student LEAP App Login and SRKMV Kits distribution after 2 days only.
 
5. Verify the mobile number carefully before saving to avoid OTP-related issues.
